Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She went on to become a TV host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. Sheryl was born and lived within Little Rock. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. She was a troubled child. childhood taking care of her younger sister Frankie who was afflicted by polio. While growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mother. Sheryl claimed she was once told that her mother had attacked one of the parents to her son due to the fact that she had been a little too close to the father. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. However, her interests lay in the field of comedy. She became the first woman to be a finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career began in 1992 when she was a guest actor on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of The show Oh Drama! Presently, she is a guest co-host for the Talk talk show since 2011. Also, she's appeared as a fictional character in shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
