Amy Smart has been a model, actress and former American. Born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film which was her first film role. It took a long time to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller part. It was very difficult for her to make the transition from modeling to acting since models were not considered to be good actors and were mostly assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. Amy did not give up. She climbed the ladder to bigger roles. She began with The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. She then ventured into the main roles for the 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy finally got the recognition she had been chasing since the age of 10. Amy was in several big movies within the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham. And she also played a recurring role in the Shameless series.
